The Beginning

Today marks the day that I begin my search. What am I searching for? Where do I begin? I am searching for photographs. I am searching for life. I am searching for meaning. I am searching for what is lost.

I am a time bomb of thoughts and creativity trapped by my own mind, my own job, my own country and well... everything around me. Music greatly effects my life and will do the same to this journey.

The trek back to TX - 5/17

Since the concert wasn't over until 11 last night we decided to sat over in AL and do the 8 hr drive the next day. Somewhat limited on subject matter..

This is my favorite sign in Texas.. not great quality but its the best I could do out of a dirty windshield going 65 MPH. (Texas is 880 miles wide.)

5/16

After a torrential downpour that delayed the concert for 4 hours and canceled a few shows the sun still managed to make a short appearance and I there was somewhat of a sunset. I took this picture between the Guster concert and the Ray Lamontagne concert. It was a nice end to weekend.

5/15

Just a random shot of what is beyond the concert grounds. They did not allow access to the water from the concert.

This is my favorite ferris wheel shot.

Day one in GSAL.. 5/14

I mainly focused on the ferris wheel for my photos but managed to get a few others.

I really found this fascinating.. not that I agree with what he is doing but I guess that's a "green" way of making fire! Now what is he going to do when the sun goes down?

You will surely be tired of this ferris wheel in a little while!

Back from a little break... 5/13 in NOLA

Well I took a little vacation from posting on the blog mainly because I was out of town and couldn't figure out how to post from the iPad. The next couple posts are going to be some interesting and not necessarily artistic photos. Enjoy.

This is what I looked like most of the trip. I played with the new toy all 8 hrs there and 8 hrs back. Still can't figure out how to post though!

This was the a street corner across from our hotel in New Orleans. We were waiting (45min) for the street car to arrive..

Here we are waiting again (45min) for the street car to take us back to the hotel.

May 6th, It's a Thursday

A Milli
It is only day 6 of this project and I am feeling that it is increasingly hard to take pictures. I think I could be starting to realize why I put the camera down in the first place. I used to feel inspired. I used to think up cool photographs in my sleep. I used to day dream of pictures. Now.. I have nothing. Now I struggle to get one snapshot.

Cinco de Mayo

Something's Missing

Don't ask.. this is only here because I feel obligated to put something here in the first place..

4...

This picture doesn't really count for much... I was busy all afternoon having a "behind the scenes" tour of the Menil and realized that I'm really not an artist and what I am doing here really has no purpose and I really should give up the "artistic" side for something else.

Day Three

This Years Love
Today I feel a little rushed and lost about shooting. It is hard to get in the mindset of taking a picture every day since I haven't taken pictures in so long. I am currently collecting orchids so I took a quick picture of my newest plant before I walk out the door.

Day Two

After a long drive home and many hours working in the yard, I settled with this guy. I couldn't decide between the two, so here are both.

Day One

Here Me Out

Well here goes nothing. This is the first picture of my "blog." This was taken with a little point and shoot Sony camera. Hopefully you will be able to tell when I finally decide to dust my SLR off and start using it again!
