The Beginning

Today marks the day that I begin my search. What am I searching for? Where do I begin? I am searching for photographs. I am searching for life. I am searching for meaning. I am searching for what is lost.

I am a time bomb of thoughts and creativity trapped by my own mind, my own job, my own country and well... everything around me. Music greatly effects my life and will do the same to this journey.

Indeed I Will

I went by my sister's house today and picked some fresh cherry tomatoes and a few yellow eggplant. I also got a little squash blossom that might be featured in my next post.

Ain't Nothing Wrong With That

I love this one. I will bake cookies for anyone that can figure out what is in the water drops!

Milo

Today I put my sweet Milo to sleep. After we buried him we went and sat on the tee box of hole 3 and it was just beautiful. It's weird being home without him.

Polo

I went to my very first polo match today with Mitchell. It was pretty interesting and we managed to pick up most of the rules by the end of the 3rd chukker. I got quiet a few shots of the horses as they were running by, but I am really not much of a sports/action photographer.

Cool Cat

Per Mitchell's Request. Notice the heavenly glow?

Baking

I spent a good part of the day yesterday making Pumpkin cookies and my famous Oatmeal Butterscotch cookies for friends. Baking is another thing I have neglected for almost as long as my photography!

I'm Back!

I hope I will keep shooting. This little leaf has inspired me to try again! After a great picnic out on the big lake I found that the wood grain and the light were perfect with this fall leaf. :)

July 6

I know it has been a long time and it seems I am not going to accomplish my goal but I have a few new pictures I want to share. If I feel forced to take pictures I don't enjoy it but I will try to be better about taking them more frequently. These are from Galveston..

The trek back to TX - 5/17

Since the concert wasn't over until 11 last night we decided to sat over in AL and do the 8 hr drive the next day. Somewhat limited on subject matter..

This is my favorite sign in Texas.. not great quality but its the best I could do out of a dirty windshield going 65 MPH. (Texas is 880 miles wide.)

5/16

After a torrential downpour that delayed the concert for 4 hours and canceled a few shows the sun still managed to make a short appearance and I there was somewhat of a sunset. I took this picture between the Guster concert and the Ray Lamontagne concert. It was a nice end to weekend.

5/15

Just a random shot of what is beyond the concert grounds. They did not allow access to the water from the concert.

This is my favorite ferris wheel shot.
